Scumble Glaze
Scumble Glaze is a clear water-borne, transparent glaze for the professional Artist or Decorative Painters. It is an excellent glaze for broken color work-i.e. Rag rolling, stippling, marbling, wood graining, etc. Scumble Glaze produces a transparent, traditional oil-based properties and appearance without the toxic elements of solvents.
scumble Glaze dries to a very hard, durable, water resistance finish and will not yellow. Scumble Glaze unique features are it's ability to work all the way to an almost dry format, allows for dry brushing, layers can be added with no need to varnish between them, no need of clear coats, and you can wash the surface after 21 days.
Best of all, Acrotel Universal Glaze can be colored using Universal Tints, Acrylic Tints, Artist Colors and Latex Paints.
Acrotel Universal Glaze can be used for both interior and exterior applications. It can be applied over regular acrylic eggshell or satin paint. Working time will vary on underlay paint properties. Open time will vary from 15 - 45 minutes. Add Extender Glaze for additional open time. Other properties and features are: Excellent adhesion to a variety of surfaces including metal, glass, wood, certain plastics and ceramic tiles.
